National Botanic Garden of Wales

The National Botanic Garden of Wales

We went to a lovely place for Father's Day. We're not sure what a Father's day means but the two leggers said it was an important day.

We just smiled and nodded!

There were lots of lovely two leggers that came to say hi to us. We really enjoyed hearing lots of questions asked about us and hearing about how us Falabellas came to be!
We are getting quite famous now!

Of course it wouldn't be us if we didn't tell you about the grass they had! Superb!
There were lots of yummy looking things that we reeeeaaaaaaaaalllly wanted to try but the two leggers held on very tightly to our ropes when we were going past those.

They look so yummy!!

We found a nice spot where the machine lawn mowers can't get to.
We trimmed it down quite nicely - why use a machine when you can use a horse!?

We did a lot of walking and looking at the lovely flowers and plants - we were wishing we could try just one of them but our two leggers were very serious when they said no eating plants!

Following the Falabellas! :)

Cheeeeessse! Or should we say 'Carrots'?!

As we were walking around, we found a really cool seat. I didn't want to go to look at it but Marlowe did -

But then he didn't want to get down again - or so he said. I think he was just being a scaredy horse!

Here we are at the top of the world!
I wouldn't mind having our field here - you could see lots of other fields too! And of course the grass was amazing!

Here I am having a cuddle by the big Glasshouse!

Before I pass you over to the two-leggers - I have to show you this photograph of one of them! Isn't she silly?! I wasn't amused - as you can probably tell by my face!

Oh well - enough from us now! Until next time :)

From the two leggers -

We had a fantastic day at National Botanic Garden of Wales. There is so much to see and do there with things for all members of the family. The walks around the gardens are really lovely with such a variety of different plants and flowers to see. They even provide a number of wheelchairs for those not able to walk too far.

The Garden hosts a variety of different events through out the year so there is always something different to do and see! Events include different music festivals, craft fairs, meet the Meerkats, Falconry Day and many, many more. Click here to go to the list of events.

We would like to thank the Staff of The National Botanic Garden of Wales for allowing us to visit their wonderful venue on Father's Day. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope to be back again soon!

As it was Father's Day - I have to share this photograph of my dad and I taken at the Garden. It was great to be able to spend the day with him there as it's something we don't get to celebrate often!

And here he is posing for you all! Hehe!

We hope all Fathers, grandfathers, and father figures all had a wonderful day :)

Our next journey is to Colby Woodland Gardens in Amroth on Sunday 22nd June from 10am -  why not follow us there!?
